Thanks to certain editorial changes recently implemented by Examiner.com, several 'local' Examiners have chosen to sever their relationship with Examiner.com, myself included. Actually, I view this as a blessing in disguise, for it is forcing me to either relinquish my internet presence (which does not appear to be a viable choice and still remain in the will of God) or find another outlet through which I may continue to deal with the issues that face Bible-believing Christians in an ever increasing social climate that is hostile to the very presence of Christianity! At the very least, I will no longer be forced because of editorial considerations beyond my control to write in the third person, or to 'localize' content to make it acceptable to some extraneous authority.
To those readers who have been faithful and loyal to my Evangelical Examiner Knoxville site at Examiner.com, I offer my thanks for it has been those faithful few who regularly viewed my articles on that site, (in the midst of potentially millions who could), that have kept me writing, (aside from an unction from the Holy Spirit), and have provided a welcome incentive to continue. One of the more detrimental changes that Examiner implemented which adversely affected me was to link all readers' comments to and through Facebook, rather than through our Examiner site, making it even more time consuming to keep in touch with any comments posted by my readers.
It is my sincere hope that my work producing these articles has not been a labor in vain, and the steady increase in readership as well as subscribers during my time with Examiner appears to prove it has not been. And I pray and trust that as I am forced, through no fault of my own, to alter the means through which my work is shared with the cyber world, that my readership and the affect of my work will continue to be felt and sought out by interested parties.
